We are currently hiring for the position of STUDIO ARTIST. Please fill in the form below to begin our application process.
Step 1: Connect with a Jubilee staff for an eligibility screening
Step 2: Sign up for two Art Space studio information sessions at Evergreen, where you will try your hand at sewing and screen printing
Step 3: Attend an intake interview and start signing up for shifts! Shifts are held Tuesday-Thursday afternoons for 3 hours at a time at $15/hr.
After 4 weeks, you will be given the option to stay on for a more extensive training program that will include 9 weeks of free personalized employment training and counseling, in addition to paid shifts. At the end of the training period, we will work with participants to find paid part-time job placements for 10 weeks.

Interviews will be held between September 9-11, 2019

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be unemployed or underemployed, and be between the ages of 17-24. They must also not be currently enrolled in another employment program or be eligible for E.I. benefits (eg. not worked full time in the past year, and not received E.I. in the past 5 years). The program is designed to support youth who have struggled with employment and education because of mental health concerns.
Jubilee Designs is a short term contract with the goal of teaching skills that will be useful in future employment. Tasks include sewing, silk screening, graphic design and teaching workshops.
